MSc Automotive Engineering graduate combining nearly three years of industrial mechanical experience with academic work in vehicle modelling, powertrain analysis and PEM fuel cells. I am seeking engineering roles and PhD opportunities that connect system modelling with experimental evaluation.
I am interested in PEM fuel-cell performance, electrified powertrains and vehicle control. My current foundation is in practical fuel-cell testing, MATLAB/Simulink analysis and mechanical engineering. During doctoral research, I would like to develop stronger methods for parameter sensitivity studies, repeatable experiments and comparisons between model predictions and measurements.
Manuscript in preparation. I am developing my MSc fuel-cell dissertation into a research paper for journal submission.

Selected Academic Work
Research and coursework from my MSc Automotive Engineering at the University of Hertfordshire.
MSc Dissertation
Educational PEM Fuel Cell Performance
Tested an educational PEM fuel-cell system across ten runs and analysed electrical output and operating duration. Also interpreted a separate automotive-scale Simscape study. Includes original apparatus photographs and reviewed research downloads.
Experiment & Simulation
The bench experiments and automotive-scale simulation are separate studies. The simulation was not directly validated against the educational stack.
Compared two driving cycles in MATLAB/Simulink. The coursework reports a 5.08% range increase for Drive Cycle 1 with a higher regeneration coefficient. Includes the simulation report and model limitations.
Compared spring and damper settings in a two-degree-of-freedom model. The checked numerical reference gives 21.4% lower body displacement RMS for the nominal bump, with 9.3% higher peak dynamic tyre load. Includes code, assumptions and results.
Explore vehicle dynamics, controls, materials, CFD and finite element analysis.
